The PSX version takes advantage of the fact that it is stored on a CD-ROM, which provides much more space than a cartridge or even the EPROM's that the arcade game was stored on. It has used up a lot of this space by replacing the real-time introduction and endings animations with pre-rendered full- motion video (FMV) sequences. If you have no idea what this means, don't worry about it, you'll notice the difference. Dual Shock is supported (as its answer to the N64's Rumble Pak), as are the Memory Cards (used to save controller configurations, High Win Streaks, etc.) |
